Are You Seated in the Wrong Place

He gave us life together with Christ.  And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Ephesians 2:5-6.

If you don't see it before you see it, then when it manifests you won't recognize it.

There is a book by Watchman Nee entitled, Sit, Walk, and Stand. It is a very simple progression here: sit, walk, and stand. (Watch this) There are people who want to stand against the devil as in Ephesians 6; there are people who want to learn how to walk the Christian walk as in Ephesians 4; but there are also people who have never learned how to sit from Ephesians 2 (Hmmmmm).

Before you can stand against the wiles of the devil, and before you can walk the Christian walk, you must learn how to sit. You must take your place in the finished work of Christ. By “finished,” I mean Jesus has already done everything He is going to do about the devil, your righteousness, and your victory in life (Hello somebody). He has already (past tense) done it, or taken care of it.

He has defeated the devil, overcome him, established your righteousness, given you victory, sat down, and said, “It is all over, It is Finished. I am seated far above everything, and I did it for you.” That is why the Gospel is not “God can,” or “God wants to.” No, God has already taken care of the devil, your righteousness, and your victory in life. You do not have to do it. All you have to do is sit down!

You must learn to take your place first of all in Christ, in the finished work of redemption, and sit down. You give the devil the most trouble when you sit down! Often people are fighting themselves and many other things. If you are fighting everything in the natural, you are going to lose.

The Bible declares “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit…,” Zechariah 4:6. So take your place in the Spirit in Christ and sit down.

God has already taken care of the devil, your righteousness, and your victory in life.

satan is far below, and you are far above him. Christ is the head, and you are in His body. You have the same account, the same righteousness, the same life, the same victory, and the same authority Christ has.

Just sit down and say, place the devil, situations and circumstances under your feet. You are seated with Christ. You had better get your binoculars out to see him because he is so far below you. He is far below your feet even if you are the little toe in the body of Christ. Take your place first of all in Christ, in the finished work of redemption, and sit down. You give the devil the most trouble when you sit down.

God is not going to do it. You do not have to talk Him into doing it because He has already done it. He has raised us up together.

You can deal with life from a different perspective now (Yeeeeee). You can deal with your problems from a position of triumph and victory, not from a place of trying to get the victory (Hello somebody). You can say, “I am taking my place. I am going to sit down right now, and I am going to rest in what Jesus has already done. I do not need to fight in this battle. God fights in the battle and gives me the victory.”

"Where I am is not where I am, it's just where I am." There is a Word that is spoken over our lives that cannot fail!
Confession:  I boldly declare that my Heavenly Father has already taken care of the devil, my righteousness, and my victory in life.  I take my place first of all in Christ, in the finished work of His redemption, and I sit down in my seat and position of delegated Authority. I give the devil the most trouble when I sit down.  I am seated at the right hand of God in a position and posture of authority as a believer.  Therefore, no obstacle can stand against me, and no weapon can defeat me.  Whatever it is that You are doing in this season, please don’t do it without me.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Betraying the Betrayals

If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were raising himself against me, I could hide from him. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend. - Psalm 55:12-13
If you don't see it before you see it, then when it manifests you won't recognize it.

Betray means- to deliver or expose to an enemy by treachery or disloyalty: to be unfaithful in guarding, maintaining, or fulfilling: to disappoint the hopes or expectations of; be disloyal to: to reveal or disclose in violation of confidence.

Every now and then you will always be attacked in the place of your inheritance (Hmmm).
God has called you to bring people together and to impact other people's lives as a result of the anointing in your life. You must make sure that you seek to maintain righteousness in all of your relationships.

Have you ever experienced a close relationship that ended in betrayal?
You can be an individual who with all your heart, mind, and soul tries to be very loyal to friends and those with whom you have covenant relationships. Yet there are times that no matter how righteous you are, when someone means to betray you (If “Judas” was here I would get a witness), s/he will do it.
Loving those who betray you is "graduate-level Christianity." The religious community and one of His closest friends betrayed Jesus. Those who were closest to David betrayed him. Joseph's own family betrayed him.
Loving our enemies cannot be accomplished by mustering it up (Hello somebody). It can only happen when we have come to a death in ourselves so that Christ can love through us. It is truly one of those acts of identifying with the cross.

If you are a leader, you can be sure God will allow you to experience betrayal. It is one of those courses in the Kingdom that may not be required until God has seen that you have successfully passed other tests. It is the most difficult and most gut wrenching of all tests.
A godly response goes against all that is in us. Our natural response is to protect, retaliate, and retain unforgiveness and bitterness (I know I’m tellin’ the truth…). Our natural response is satan's most powerful weapon (Hmmmmm); to overcome it requires much grace from God. Ask God to build His nature in you now so that when such attacks come, you will be aware that it is a test and you will respond in righteousness.
"Where I am is not where I am, it's just where I am." There is a Word that is spoken over our lives that cannot fail!
Prayer:  Gracious God and Father, thank You for being a loving, kind and forgiving Father. Thank You for the precious Blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses me from my sin and my unrighteousness.  Father I desire to walk in the unconditional love of Jesus Christ; so I ask for grace to overcome the hurts, pains, and disappointments that I have experienced through the hands of my friends or family, when I tried to love and do good unto them.  Your Word commands me to love my enemies, to bless them that curse me, to do good to them that hate me, and to pray for them which despitefully use me, and persecute me.  Father, thank You for the assignment of the Holy Spirit in my life Who empowers me to carry out Your Word and experience the fruits of righteousness growing in my life. Whatever it is that You are doing in this season, please don’t do it without me.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
